Stefanie Marvin CCC-SLP
Stefanie graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with her M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a Washington State Speech-Language Pathology License. She has an additional advanced certificate in DIR Floortime from the International Council on Development and Learning.
Whether working on feeding or communication skills, Stefanie prioritizes following your child’s lead using a strength-based treatment philosophy and capitalizing on their personal interests and passions to help them learn and grow.
Specific interests include infant feeding, childhood feeding, early intervention, and autism using a developmental approach individualized to each patient. Stefanie has experience working with breast feeding difficulties, bottle feeding difficulties, transitioning to solids, sensory based pediatric feeding disorders, anxiety based pediatric feeding disorders, tongue thrust, tethered oral tissues, speech sound disorders, apraxia, language disorders, stuttering, AAC, and social communication.
Stefanie lives in Ballard and enjoys exploring the greater Seattle area with her fiancé and her German shepherd, Kiwi, whether that entails trying out new restaurants, hiking trails, or campsites.
